Why didn’t the media notice that McCain ignored Obama at the 911 anniversary ceremony?
Watch it again and look at his body language. He hardly acknowledged Barack that day either. Barack tried to be gracious and cheerful but was totally ignored that day and Mccain shook every mans hand as if to say “I’m the real candidate ignore him” because he resents the difficulty against a black unknown candidate. He feels this is his time and thought he’d win hands down like the primaries.
If Barack treated McCain as Mccain is treating him everyone would be all over him as an Angry Black man but it seems like the media (although acknowledges McCains Behavior) has forgiven him with excuses for him such as the need to demonize his opponent in order to gain competitiveness.
Thats my Point.
As McCain is so proud of saying, he won’t win any congeniality contests. He is a condescending little munchkin. We live in a global society whose problems require someone who has the ability to use diplomacy with foreign policy as we are not the great military power we once were. We need someone who understands that and has the ability to form an effective weapon of their personal handling of negotiations. McCain does not have it.
He was condescending in the debate as well and some questioned Obama’s use of his first name saying it was disrespectful. McCain refused to address Obama as a matter disrespect because as you said, “he resents the difficulty against a black unknown candidate”. McCain got as good as he gave. I was glad to see Obama not bend down and kiss his holier than thou feet.
That was diplomacy in action. The ability tell someone to KISS and remove the option of not bending down.
